As a mother and grandmother, I know just how magical and beneficial story time can be!

I love creating books that not only entertain, but also thread a special message between their lines. I aim to make young readers feel empowered and to celebrate the beautiful diversity in our world.

All my stories come with activities. These aren't just any activities: they're 'stretch and challenge' missions that help young readers to use their awesome brain power!

My career has been around the power of words. I've spent two decades teaching English to people of all ages; helping them make their writing shine, their speaking clearer, and their reading skills stronger. I've even had the joy of working with primary schools, running family workshops where picture books were at the heart of boosting children's literacy and numeracy skills.

Because of this, I know that stories can teach us more than just a story!

You'll usually find me down the beach or in the country fuelling my imagination and sparking new stories!

My favourite colour is peacock blue and I absolutely love rhubarb. I also love a really good chat!
